I had the pleasure of working with Claire and Kate for their AirBnB experience. Curious Compass hosted a tour on Hadrian’s Wall, one of their signature tours. We had a great laugh and learnt a great deal as we walked a span of the wall.
Claire and Katie know their stuff and with Curious Compass on the Wall you can learn tons as you explores some of the finest scenery this area has to offer. We met at the Sill, a beautiful venue that has lots of interest. A National Landscape Discovery Centre it’s the perfect place to start discovering Northumberland’s National Park.
Moving to Steel Rig where it’s easy to park we followed the wall through the beautiful Northumberland Scenery to the famous Sycamore Gap. Each step of the journey was light hearted, informative and fun. We learned about some of the forts along the way and some of the carvings that are hidden in the wall itself.
I highly recommend one of these fabulous tours, a Great way to get out and learn something.
